MC Dance is seeking a highly skilled, professional dance educator to work with our advanced-level dancers (ages 8–18) and lead an adult contemporary class.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate instructor who thrives in a disciplined, growth-focused environment and is ready to help dancers reach the next level technically and artistically.
Position Details
Summer Schedule (2026):
- Mondays: 5:00 – 7:00 PM (Intermediate/Advanced Dancers)
- Mondays: 7:00 – 7:45 PM (Adult Contemporary)
- Wednesdays: Afternoon class (time finalized upon hiring)
- Thursdays: 5:15 – 6:45 PM (Intermediate/ Advanced Dancers)
- Thursdays: 7:00 – 7:45 PM (Adult Ballet)
This position has strong potential to continue into our 2026–2027 season and may grow into a Director-level role for the right candidate.

- Holds a degree in dance or has comparable professional training and performance experience
- Has experience training advanced-level dancers
- Can push dancers technically while building confidence and artistry
- Maintains strong classroom management and structure
- Is reliable, organized, and committed to excellence

Responsibilities
- Teach and challenge advanced dancers in technique and artistry
- Strengthen technical foundations and performance quality
- Provide corrections in a constructive, motivating manner
- Prepare dancers for growth opportunities and higher-level training
- Lead a welcoming, professional adult contemporary class
- Collaborate with studio leadership and staff
- Potential to Choreograph Groups and Solo pieces
