We are seeking a reliable and motivated Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse facility. This role is essential to keeping our workspace organized, operational, and welcoming for all employees.
- Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the warehouse, including sweeping, trash removal (inside and outside), and recycling management.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
- Perform minor repairs and general maintenance, such as painting, basic carpentry, and equipment upkeep.
- Assist with light outdoor maintenance and seasonal tasks as required.
- Operate basic maintenance tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with the maintenance team and other departments to support facility needs.
- Additional responsibilities as required.
- Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch throughout an eight-hour shift.
- Reach with hands and arms and use hand-eye coordination.
- Lift and move items weighing 10-25 pounds; lift and/or move items up to 70 pounds.
- Push or pull items weighing up to 150 pounds.
- Strong work ethic with reliability, punctuality, and consistent performance.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team, follow directions accurately, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, minor repairs, and safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Experience in custodial, warehouse, or general maintenance roles is a plus.
- Awareness of safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and ability to identify and report maintenance or safety issues.
