Manufacturing Eng’r – Process Improvement. Maintenance, Fixture design. SPC. Welding, heat treating, forging.
Responsible for work in planning, design and modification of fixtures, tools, and manufacturing processes. Resolves production problems and completes documentation on assigned parts. Interfaces with customers as needed. Generally operates with appreciable latitude for non-reviewed action or decision-making.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Process Improvement and determines the sequence of operations of manufacture of parts.
2. Prepares and updates routers and operation sheets. Researches new manufacturing methods.
3. Establishes manufacturing standards.
4. Determines and troubleshoots manufacturing processes at all levels of complexity
5. Engineers tools, fixture and gauging modifications.
6. Coordinates part inspection procedures with Quality Engineers.
7. Addresses and documents cause and corrective action issues to prevent future problem occurrences.
