Rapidly growing firm with excellent benefits is seeking Electrical Engineers/Mechanical Engineers to support facility design, construction, and infrastructure build‑outs. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy leading technical design, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and delivering high‑performance building systems.
- Design and develop electrical systems for new facility builds, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Produce and review electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents using Revit and related BIM tools.
- Perform load calculations, short‑circuit analysis, arc‑flash studies, and power distribution design.
- Coordinate with mechanical, architectural, civil, and structural teams to ensure fully integrated building systems.
- Apply LEED, sustainability, and energy‑efficiency principles to electrical system design.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, local building codes, and industry standards.
- Support construction activities through site visits, RFIs, submittal reviews, and troubleshooting.
- Prepare cost estimates, material takeoffs, and technical inputs for proposals.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
Required Qualifications
- BSEE (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering) or BSME (Bachelor or Science Mechanical Engineer)
- Professional experience in building electrical systems, facility design, or industrial/commercial infrastructure
- Proficiency with Revit (BIM)
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and construction practices
- Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills
