Overview
Our client is seeking A Senior Finance Business Partner that will be responsible for all aspects of financial monitoring, reporting, and analysis in support of our clients People Services enterprise organization. As a key player within Corporate FP&A, this person will have broad responsibility for working directly with senior- and executive-level clients to develop fiscal year plans and operational budgets and track performance throughout the year. This role requires working as a trusted advisor to identify financial risks and opportunities, providing advice and recommendations to mitigate cost impacts.
Key Responsibilities
- Generating and analyzing monthly budget analysis vs Plan and Forecast.
- Updating Forecast based on client input and trend analysis.
- Communicating budget results to leaders.
- Collaborating with EO finance team on pop-up projects, process updates and report automation.
- Champion financial processes, tools, and best practices – drive standardization and automation across EO Finance Team.
- Guide clients through routine processes and adhere to the published cadence for budget and forecast updates, quarterly accruals, and fiscal year cut-over activities.
- Continually drive process and technology improvement to achieve more efficient and effective financial oversight.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience performing financial analysis and modeling.
- 3 years of experience developing, maintaining, and improving financial reports for senior-level management or clients.
- 3 years of experience reporting and presenting financial and business operations results to executive-level management or clients.
- Experience with Excel, including the extensive use of formulas to build financial reports and models.
- Knowledge of enterprise planning and reporting tools, including Hyperion, Workday, and Essbase (Essbase could be a nice to have skill).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics.
