Job Overview
Join our team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver! In this role you will operate newer model tractor-trailers delivering pallets within a 150 mile radius of our shop and be home every night.

Duties
- Safely operate tractor- trailers (mostly van trailers) on local routes.
- Use GPS navigation systems to follow optimized routes while maintaining compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking for mechanical issues or hazards.
- Load & unload cargo accurately using forklift or other equipment when necessary; ensure proper truck loading and unloading procedures are followed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team for route adjustments or delivery updates; adhere strictly to DOT regulations during all operations.
Experience
- Experience in commercial truck driving is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of GPS navigation tools for efficient route planning.
- Skills in handling equipment such as forklifts or similar machinery are advantageous but not mandatory.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
