What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Civil Engineer/ Project Manager position at MBL Land Development & Permitting, Corp.?
MBL Land Development & Permitting is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer/ Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing residential, commercial, industrial and municipal projects to obtain project approvals and throughout construction.
What You'll Do:
- Create detailed site plans including site layout, grading & drainage and septic design plans using AutoCAD
- Perform drainage design calculations and prepare stormwater reports using HydroCAD and Microsoft applications
- Perform septic design calculations, including pressure dosed and pump designs
- Prepare wetland permitting applications and reports, including Notices of Intent and Requests for Determination of Applicability, etc.
- Project permitting, including project submissions and presentations at public hearings
- Perform construction inspections as needed
- Coordination w/ clients, subconsultants and permitting authorities
- Provide oversight and delegate tasks to junior staff
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
- 6 years of civil engineering design experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
- Self-motivated and eager to learn new skills and technologies
- Strong communication, listening, and writing abilities
- Adaptability to changing workloads with the ability to take on new roles and delegate effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Soil Evaluator License preferred, not required
