What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Mill Programmer Weekday Position position at MBK Machine?
We are seeking a multi-axis CNC Mill Programmer to join our team on our weekday shift. You will help oversee projects and ensure excellent quality control.Responsibilities:Development of machining strategy to take design data and produce machined hardwareDevelop machine programs for Multi Axis Mills in Mastercam and/or Esprit.Collaborate with machinists/operators, supervisors & quality inspectors to support program schedule & performance goals, mitigate manufacturing risks, and improve operational efficiency.Develop manufacturing plans for high-volume productionDesign custom tools and fixtures as neededDevelop set-up processes to show alignment of geometry from CNC program to physical workpiece.Identify and select appropriate tooling for job specific applications (based on part material, geometry, features, tolerances, system rigidity, and equipment capability).Releasing programs to the production team that have been validated in Camplete.Own process improvement opportunities (reduced machining/setup time, improved part quality)Maintain configuration control of files and job recordsSafely working within a manufacturing environmentTroubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion​Qualifications:2 years of CAM programming experience2 years of CNC machining experience1 years of Mastercam or Esprit experience1 years of Solidworks experience preferredMust possess a comprehensive understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Must have experience with alloys commonly used in aerospace applications (aluminum, titanium, inconel, stainless steels)Excellent communication skillsFamiliarity with machine shop and quality lab tools and equipmentStrong troubleshooting and critical thinking skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
