SENIOR ASSOCIATE - Warehouse

Location: Torrington, CT

Schedule: 7am to 3:30pm, Monday - Friday with overtime during peak season

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Senior Associates work cross-functionally in several areas of our operation; our current need is for warehouse and forklift operators.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts and other powered material-handling equipment to receive product, transport materials between warehouse locations, and pull product to fulfill orders.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and pallets while following established safety and handling procedures.
• Use RF scanners to process inventory transactions accurately, including verifying item numbers, locations, and quantities.
• Perform detailed counts to ensure the correct quantities are received, moved, picked, and shipped.
• Complete a variety of warehouse assignments of varying complexity while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and timely completion.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and promptly report any safety, maintenance, or inventory concerns.

The ideal candidate will need to be able to multitask and work independently, and be flexible, including being willing to assist in other areas like shipping and packaging. The job is quickly trainable, and your supervisor and your co-workers will help you to catch on. Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Forklift experience is required. We also conduct on-site training for our equipment and safety training
• With training, being comfortable doing transactions in our warehouse management system with our handheld scanners and basic transactions in the WMS desktop screens.  

• Motivated, energetic, and dedicated to the highest standards of excellence
• Capable of lifting 35lbs repeatedly
