JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Regional Branch Manager, the Merchandiser supports retail execution for MBG’s beverage portfolio by stocking shelves, building and maintaining displays, rotating inventory, and partnering with store teams and MBG sales to drive compliant, on-brand, and sales-oriented execution across assigned accounts. This role enhances visibility and ensures MBG brands stand out in the marketplace through effective merchandising, promotional execution, and strong in-store presence.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stock and maintain shelves and displays in accordance with company standards and retailer agreements
- Set up and maintain promotional displays, including proper signage and pricing
- Rotate inventory to ensure freshness and compliance with product expiration dates
- Collaborate with sales representatives and retail staff to meet and exceed sales goals
- Monitor inventory levels and promptly report shortages or restocking needs
- Educate store staff about featured products and promotions to drive sales
- Ensure strict compliance with local and federal alcohol laws as well as company policies
- Document work with clear photos/notes; submit accurate daily activity reports
- Maintain clean back-stock areas; follow safe material-handling practices
- Protect brand standards by following planograms, pricing guidelines, and display schematics

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in merchandising, route, warehouse, retail, or CPG/beverage preferred
- Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently on a set route
- Proficient with mobile apps for routing, ERP reporting, and photo documentation
- Strong communication and relationship skills with store personnel and MBG sales teams
- Must meet the legal minimum age to handle alcohol in the work jurisdiction and have a High School Diploma
- Willingness to travel to multiple store locations as needed during early mornings, weekends, holidays, and peak periods as needed
- This position requires flexibility, including but not limited to availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Hold a valid and current driver’s license within MVR policy guidelines throughout employment
- Ensure reliable, insured transportation, in accordance with company policy
- The policy must include the following minimum coverage: $100,000 for bodily injury, $300,000 for liability, and $50,000 for property damage
- Must be able to pass a background and drug screening for hire and randomly throughout employment
