Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Registered Dental Hygienist role located in Chelmsford, MA. The Registered Dental Hygienist will provide high-quality preventive and therapeutic dental care, including dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and patient education on oral hygiene and disease prevention. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing dental prophylaxis, assessing oral health conditions, documenting findings, and collaborating with dentists on individualized treatment plans. The role also involves taking and reviewing dental radiographs, maintaining accurate and confidential patient records, and ensuring adherence to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards. The hygienist will work closely with the dental team to create a welcoming, patient-centered environment and support practi
ce goals.Qualifications
- Strong clinical foundation in Dentistry and Dental Care, with the ability to support comprehensive treatment planning and coordinate care with dentists.
- Proficiency in Hygiene and Dental Prophylaxis, including routine cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and patient education on oral health.
- Knowledge of Periodontal Disease, including assessment, prevention, and non-surgical periodontal therapy.
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain before start date).
- Current CPR/BLS certification and familiarity with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain treatment and preventive care in patient-friendly terms.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment, with strong attention to detail and accurate charting skills.
- Experience with digital radiography and dental practice management software is preferred.
