Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant will primarily function as support for the Industrial department’s functions and initiatives. This position will be responsible for all aspects of administrative duties in addition to supporting any interdepartmental functions and/or special projects.
Responsibilities
- Payroll
- Billing & Invoicing
- Demonstrate excellent customer service for internal and external customers
- Assist with setting up new vendors and customers in system
- Maintain project/job information in system
- Complete all necessary paperwork to submit to HR for field employee changes, transfers, and terminations
- Prepare reports as needed
- New Hire Review paperwork – 90-day & yearly
- Ability to demonstrate key traits indicative of the HAYNES Way including integrity and professionalism.
- Previous Payroll and Billing experience a plus.
- Willingness to interact with a variety of internal and external customers with a positive and service-oriented approach.
- Proven approach to critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Willingness and ability to gain a working knowledge of general construction functions.
- Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn various internal software program applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple comprehensive tasks at one time.
