What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Sales - Warehouse Solutions Specialist position at Mazzella Companies and Careers?
As the Warehouse Solutions Specialist, you will strategically leverage all our products and services to provide single source, creative solutions to environments like warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing plants within a defined territory. Develop strategies and plans to increase customer loyalty to Mazzella, by actively seeking to expand the relationship and penetrate at all business levels; teaching our customers to think differently about opportunities and risks within their business.
Please note this is a territory-based position and can be located in the Central Florida or the surrounding region. Candidates must reside within this region or be willing to relocate.
1. Sell our full range of Warehouse Solutions products/services within an assigned territory - leveraging a consultative teaching approach through field visits, telephone sales and digital contacts to new/existing customers
2. Probe to uncover the customer’s needs/pain points through all levels of the organization and seek opportunities to fulfill the need with solutions that exceed customers’ expectations
3. Recommend product and service enhancements, utilizing the One Mazzella approach, to increase sales and capitalize on margin potential while instilling confidence and comfort in the customer experience
4. Follow the Six Step Sales Process to move opportunities through the plan, qualify, align, propose, close, and expand stages
5. Utilize the Company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain complete call records, gather business intelligence, and obtain valid customer/competitor account information which supports increased product and services sales growth
6. Tailor and present professional proposals that provide solutions to the customer which aids in securing new business and expanding existing business
7. Partner with Inside Sales and Project Management to achieve a higher customer retention rate; by generating an increased level of customer service and satisfaction
8. Lead customer conversations to position Rack, Conveyor, Mezzanines, Modular Offices, and LED Lighting offerings to leverage our Sell It All approach
9. Partner with sales team and business unit experts to develop, monitor, and achieve targets
10. Identify customer issues and partner with management to address threats or opportunities for improvement
11. Maintain knowledge of our competitive landscape and industry standards (ASME, ISO, OSHA etc.)
12. Maintain work area, equipment, and tools in a clean and organized manner; follow all Safety Guidelines
13. Committing to Lifelong Learning by completing all assigned learning and seeking opportunities to improve self
14. Other duties as assigned
Education:
A high school diploma or GED is required; an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university. In the absence of a degree, directly related job experience serving in an industrial sales role , where a number of years and proven knowledge may offset the degree requirement.

· A proven track record of building and maintaining effective customer relationships to meet, or exceed, established goals for product sales
· Solid written and verbal communication skills
· Strong analytical, conceptual, and planning skills

· Technical aptitude - overall PC literacy (Windows, Microsoft Office…)
· Detail oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined with the ability to multi-task
