1. Be the Mazzella Metals Team “Subject Matter Expert” for sales and marketing efforts
2. Become a trusted advisor to steel producers, aluminum mills, and key prospects
3. Nurture/Expand an established national customer base throughout the customer’s lifecycle
4. Identify high potential growth targets ($100K in annual incremental sales)
5. Sell all products/services by increasing product knowledge and brand awareness for retail/corporate accounts
6. Develop effective sales plans/business strategies to meet monthly sales goals
7. Suggest innovative solutions that meet customer needs
8. Negotiate master service agreements in accordance with Mazzella’s commercial margin expectations
9. Be a They Ask, You Answer Methodology practitioner (book by Marcus Sheridan, its a great read!)
10. Perform other associated duties as directed or required
- Ten plus years of account sales management in a metals segment, distribution, or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to drive time bound results that meet/exceed established product sales goals
- Evidenced ability to communicate, and sell, to all levels of an organization
- A proven track record of building/maintaining effective customer relationships
- Evidenced analytical, conceptual, and planning skills
- Proven math and technology acumen
- Possess a valid driver’s license and have a safety record that meets company requirements
- Able to lift/pull a minimum of 50 pounds
- Prior experience utilizing a Customer Relationship Management system (CRM).
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Retail selling experience.
- Steel Mill sales experience.
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen and E-verify.
