AUTOMOTIVE SALES CONSULTANT

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage with prospective customers through outbound sales efforts, including cold calling and outreach to generate new leads and expand the sales pipeline.
- Conduct personalized vehicle demonstrations, highlighting features and benefits to meet customer needs effectively.
- Negotiate deals confidently, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that satisfy both the customer and dealership objectives.
- Manage inventory control and assist in inventory management to ensure vehicle availability aligns with customer demand.
- Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track customer interactions, follow-ups, and sales progress efficiently.
- Upsell additional products and services such as warranties, financing options, and accessories to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to provide outstanding customer service both in person and over the phone.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for attracting B2B (business-to-business) clients and high-end sales prospects.
- Support sales management by preparing reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and customer feedback.
- Represent the dealership confidently at public speaking events or community outreach initiatives to enhance brand visibility.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience in automobile sales or retail sales with a strong understanding of automotive products.
- Demonstrated success in outside sales, B2B sales, or high-end sales environments.
- Exceptional negotiation skills combined with organizational skills to manage multiple clients simultaneously.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM software, inventory management systems, and retail math is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and public speaking capabilities.
- Experience in dealership operations such as inventory control, marketing strategies, and sales support is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on maintaining a robust sales pipeline through outbound efforts like cold calling.
