We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Warehouse Assistant to support our daily operations. In addition to standard receiving and inventory tasks, this role serves as our primary point of contact for Tool and Fleet Asset Management. You will ensure our field technicians are fully equipped with the "latest and greatest" tools and PPE, actively participate in tool procurement, physically perform and track safety inspections, and rigorously follow established SOPs to minimize equipment loss. Managing an early shift, you are a critical link in ensuring our field teams hit the job site safely, on time, and fully prepared.

Core Responsibilities
- Tool & Asset Management: Actively procure tools and PPE, track allocations using BuildOps, and ensure field technicians have high-quality, operational equipment.
- Compliance, Safety & Inspection: Physically perform basic safety testing, tagging, and tracking for field assets (e.g., ladders, harnesses, fire extinguishers, and power tools) to ensure compliance with annual inspection standards.
- Deliveries & Fleet Operations: Safely operate company vehicles to make material or tool deliveries and pickups at job sites within a 100-mile radius of the shop.
- Inventory Control & SOPs: Enforce warehouse SOPs to minimize asset loss, organize storage, audit stock levels, and process incoming freight/shipments accurately.
- Certifications: Must possess a Clean & Valid Driver’s License (for regional deliveries) and an OSHA 10-Hour Certification.
- Equipment Operation: Experience operating Powered Industrial Trucks (Forklifts) is required.
- Technical Aptitude: Proficiency with or a strong ability to learn BuildOps platform for tracking tool inventory and asset allocation.
- Experience: Prior experience in a mechanical contracting, construction, or trade-adjacent warehouse environment is highly preferred.

- Environment: Ability to work comfortably in both indoor warehouse settings and outdoor job site conditions across varying weather elements.
