Mazgan A.C. & Heating Repair is hiring an experienced Heating and Hot Water Service Technician for residential and light-commercial work throughout Brooklyn (90% of all service calls are in Brooklyn) and the surrounding New York City area.
Primary Focus
This position is primarily focused on heating and hot water systems. The right candidate will be strong in boilers, hydronic heating, and water heating systems.
We will provide training and development in HVAC air conditioning, heat pumps, and advanced HVAC systems for the right technician who wants to grow.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair gas boilers and hydronic heating systems
- Service conventional and high-efficiency boilers
- Diagnose and repair tankless water heaters
- Install and service standard water heaters and indirect water heaters
- Troubleshoot circulator pumps, zone valves, controls, thermostats, and relays
- Diagnose no-heat and no-hot-water calls
- Perform system maintenance, cleaning, testing, and combustion-related checks
- Explain repair recommendations clearly to customers
- Complete job notes, photographs, and service documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and work area
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of hands-on heating or plumbing service experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
- Experience with boilers, hydronic systems, and water heaters
- Tankless water heater experience is highly preferred
- Ability to work independently and complete service calls properly
- Professional appearance and good customer-service skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must have your own basic hand tools
- Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to follow company procedures
Experience with A.O. Smith & Navien is a plus.

Schedule
Full-time position. Some evenings, weekends, and emergency service may be required during the heating season.
Salary : $50,000 - $100,000
