What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mazama High School/Brixner Junior High School Robotics and Engineering Teacher position at Mazama High School?
This position will be shared between Brixner Junior High School and Mazama High School.
The Robotics & Engineering Teacher for Middle and High School plans, organizes and implements a robotics and engineering program to successfully guide and encourage students to develop skills necessary to engineer and build robots. Teachers must have skills in project based learning, problem solving, teambuilding, and collaboration. Potential teachers will be willing to travel with teams to competitions and host local competitions. The Robotics & Engineering Teacher earns an additional stipend. Candidates with experience teaching robotics are preferred.
This position can be filled with a CTE certified individual with experience in engineering or an individual with a regular teaching license.
Primary Function:
To plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program, as designated by the Klamath County School District, in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. Physical ability to adhere to OSHA and district safety regulations. Work within the district’s communicable disease control plan (blood borne pathogens) and be aware of the existence and potential exposure to hazardous chemicals as identified on the MSDS sheets. This position is considered a safety sensitive position.
Position to begin in the 2026/2027 school year.
