Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Schaumburg, IL, for a Distributor Sales Manager. The role involves managing relationships with distributors, driving sales of Mazak's machine tool solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include creating sales strategies, tracking distributor performance, offering training and support, and identifying opportunities for revenue growth. The Distributor Sales Manager will collaborate with internal teams to align distributor activities with organizational goals and customer needs.
Qualifications
- Sales and Relationship Management: Strong skills in distributor management, account development, and customer retention.
- Strategic Thinking and Decision-Making: Ability to develop sales strategies, analyze market trends, and identify growth opportunities.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of machine tool solutions, manufacturing processes, and related technologies. Experience in the machining or manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Communication and Collaboration: Proficiency in conveying complex concepts, providing training, and working cross-functionally with teams and distributors.
