Production Controller II Job Details Posting Details Posted on July 9, 2026 LocationsShowing 1 location Florence, KY Florence, KY, USA Production Control Full-Time Requisition #: PRODU001578 Description Mazak Corporation is looking for a Production Controller II to join the Material Control team at our Production facility located in Florence, KY. The Production Controller II supports production operations by managing material flow, schedules, and coordinating work orders. Focus on process improvement and timely delivery with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. Scope and Responsibilities: Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following: • Maintain a safe and organized work environment. • Coordinate and expedite parts to the shop floor, ensuring timely delivery and inventory levels. • Place and expedite work orders for in-house parts and resolve shortages. • Collaborate with production departments to meet schedules and efficiency goals. • Develop and maintain BOMs and ensure accurate ECNs and Memo changes. • Communicate material flow delays and kit shortages, scrap, and floor loss issues • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain proper WIP levels. • Perform periodic cycle counts and contribute to bi-annual physical inventory count. • Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities within the production process. Education/Certification: • High school degree or equivalent Skills: • Experience - 4-9 years of previous experience • Previous experience in Production Control or related field preferred • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints • Understanding of MRP, kiting process, on time delivery, inventory control, and Multilevel BOM • Communication ability to interact with other employees and departments • Motivated, self- starter • Ability to work with all customers in a positive and courteous manner EOE, including disability/vets
