What are the responsibilities and job description for the Journeyman Electrician position at MAZ Electrical Solutions LLC?
MAZ Electrical Solutions is a growing electrical contracting company based in Newton, NJ, looking for a reliable, experienced electrician to join our team full time. You'll be working directly alongside our licensed journeyman on a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial jobs throughout North Jersey.
What you'll be doing:
- Electrical installation, repair, and maintenance across residential and commercial properties
- New construction rough-in and finish work
- Service upgrades, panel work, and troubleshooting
- Light pole installation, conduit runs, and wire pulling
- Occasional low-voltage and network cabling work
What we're looking for:
- At least 5 years Hands-on electrical experience — apprentice background or equivalent field experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Clean background check
- Shows up on time, works hard, takes pride in clean work
- Can work independently and follow direction
- NJ electrical license a plus but not required
