Position Summary
Mayzon is seeking a Material Handler II to support production and warehouse operations by transporting raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods throughout the facility. This position ensures timely material flow to meet Safety, Quality, and Production objectives.
This role is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Overtime is paid in accordance with federal and applicable state laws. This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Move materials manually or using rollers to designated workstations
- Load and unload materials using forklifts and other powered industrial equipment
- Wrap pallets and prepare production tickets; scan product labels into ERP system
- Read and interpret bills of materials (BOMs) and related documentation
- Order materials from warehouse inventory and return unused materials to stock
- Collect and properly dispose of scrap materials, cardboard, and strapping
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform other related duties as assigned within scope of training and capability
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum two (2) years of related manufacturing or warehouse experience
- Forklift experience preferred; certification may be required
- Ability to read and interpret production documentation
- Basic math skills and written communication ability
- Experience using ERP systems or related inventory software preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
