What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Security Specialist TSCM position at Mayvin, Inc?
Mayvin is seeking a Technical Security Specialist to support the Technical Countermeasures Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) mission with a Federal Law Enforcement agency within Washington, D.C.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Responsibilities:
- Lead and assist with Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) Missions, including construction security
- Perform research, selection, modification, design, maintenance, and/or development of Technical Security equipment and systems
- Investigate and develop advanced techniques and devices to mitigate threats
- Resolve or recommend solutions to overlapping and conflicting security requirements by utilizing knowledge, skills, and abilities, including the ability to interpret various directives, rules, and regulations
- Communicate orally with customers and groups on technical security-related issues
- Write reports to document mission events, research findings, procedures, and other technical security-related issues
Qualifications:
- Government certification in TSCM required
- Minimum 7 years of relevant TSCM experience
- An active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
- Must be willing to conduct shift work and travel as needed
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Federal Law Enforcement TSCM support
