Responsibilities
- Perform daily chemistry checks using lab equipment and instrument.
- Conduct routine inspections and perform maintenance on mechanical systems, plumbing, pumps, valves, and heavy equipment involved in waste processing.
- Collect and analyze data related to water quality, flow rates, chemical levels, and system performance to support efficient operations.
- Run waste treat system to neutralize and process chemical solutions.
- Maintain detailed logs of operations, maintenance activities, and data collection records for compliance and reporting purposes.
- General maintenance of waste treat system such as air and liquid plumbing.
- Assist in major repairs with Maintenance Department and/or contractor.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and maintenance within water or wastewater treatment environments.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and analysis of water treatment data.
- Strong analysis skills to identify operational issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, construction practices, and general maintenance procedures related to water treatment facilities.
- Experience with data collection tools and techniques used in wastewater treatment processes.

Pay: $25.52 - $26.58 per hour
