Position Summary:
Powder Coat Operators are responsible for line set up, scanning parts into computer, hanging uncoated parts onto conveyor, unloading the line, plugging parts, and inspecting coated parts. The unloader is responsible to pack parts as required (including wrapping or layering parts in cage). The unloader will scan quantities, piece counts and weights into the computer, print label and apply sticker
Essential Job Functions:
- Follow safety and environmental procedures
- Come to work every day, on time as scheduled
- Proficient communication skills
- Understand and Follow maintenance Lock out Tag Out procedures when applicable.
- Use computer to enter part information/inventory in ERP system
- Visually inspects all coated parts to ensure quality adherence.
- Plug parts to fill holes
- Ability to use crane and hoist
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficient and basic math and computer skills
- LOTO awareness level training.
