Join our dynamic team at Mayura Tech as a QA Automation Test Engineer, where you’ll be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge automation testing infrastructure. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our solutions are tested thoroughly and efficiently, supporting continuous delivery and rapid innovation. Responsibilities

Automation Strategy & Execution: Analyze product architecture and define, develop, and drive functional test automation strategies using the most effective automation/performance test tools.

Test Framework Development: Build and enhance frameworks for automated smoke and regression testing, integrating them seamlessly into the release process.

CI/CD Integration: Develop end-to-end automation solutions that support continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.

Test Planning: Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and strategies that align with project goals and timelines.

Proof of Concept: Conduct feasibility studies for automation testing on new projects to assess and recommend viable solutions.

Roadmap & Maintenance: Prepare and execute a progressive automation roadmap with a focus on scalability and low maintenance.

Traceability & Compliance: Ensure all test cases map back to business requirements and technical specifications for full coverage.

Reporting & Metrics: Develop, maintain, and communicate automated reporting and testing metrics to key stakeholders, providing clear insights into product quality and project status.


Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (or a related field) with a strong academic record (GPA of 3.0 preferred). Minimum 3 years in test automation or software development for web-based applications.

Agile Methodologies: Comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment, contributing to iterative product releases.

Automation Tools & Technologies:

• Proficient with open-source UI and API test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Rest Assured, Cucumber) using Java and other scripting languages.

• Ability to build a Selenium automation framework from scratch.

• Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques (e.g., JMeter).

CI/CD Expertise: Proven experience using continuous integration tools (Bamboo, Jenkins) to integrate automated testing—unit, smoke, regression—into the release process.

Development & Collaboration Tools: Hands-on experience with Eclipse, JUnit/TestNG, Maven/Gradle, GitHub, and Jira; comfortable with TDD/BDD environments.

Cloud & Architecture Knowledge: Advanced understanding of design, architecture, integration, cloud, and data patterns (experience with AWS or other cloud environments is highly valued).

Mentorship & Leadership: Demonstrated ability to mentor junior test/automation engineers, lead training sessions, and foster team growth.

Communication Skills: Excellent cross-functional communication skills, able to engage with teams and management at all levels.

Performance Testing: Familiarity with developing Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), executing performance tests, and interpreting results.

Reporting & Dashboards: Experience creating dashboards to track execution status, testing metrics, and performance insights.

Interview Process: Candidates will undergo logical, technical, and scenario-based interviews to assess real-world problem-solving skills.
