Experienced Accounting Clerk - Payroll Specialist
Mayse Automotive Group – Aurora, Missouri
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 40 hours per week

Mayse Automotive Group is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Aurora, Missouri. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, payroll experience, and preferably previous automotive dealership accounting experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and getting the details right.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting and bookkeeping functions
- Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records
- Maintain accurate employee attendance records
- Assist with month-end closing
- Maintain organized accounting records and documentation
- Assist with dealership accounting processes and daily office operations
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information
- Work with management and other departments as needed
- Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Prior accounting experience required
- Payroll experience required
- Previous automotive dealership accounting experience strongly preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Dependable with consistent attendance
- Strong work ethic and professional attitude
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
