Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and organize patient transportation services using the Epic system to ensure timely arrival for appointments, procedures, and discharges.
Verify patient appointment information, including correct date, time, clinic location, and provider details to help ensure smooth patient flow and reduce delays.
Support patients with appointment check-in processes and communicate with clinical staff regarding scheduling updates or transportation needs.
Monitor transportation requests and prioritize urgent patient care needs while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
Support patients and families by providing a welcoming environment and addressing concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
Maintain clear communication with nurses, providers, scheduling departments, and transportation teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
Follow hospital safety policies, infection prevention procedures, HIPAA regulations, and confidentiality standards.
Transport equipment, supplies, and documents between departments as needed.
