This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant located in Eau Claire, WI. The Certified Ophthalmic Assistant will perform a variety of tasks including conducting patient assessments, recording medical histories, performing diagnostic tests, assisting with treatments, and preparing patients for procedures. Daily duties also include taking fundus photographs, scribing for ophthalmologists, and ensuring efficient clinic operations.
- Proficiency in Optometry and conducting Fundus Photography
- Experience in Scribing and applying Medical Terminology
- Knowledge of Medical processes and procedures related to ophthalmology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented and patient-focused environment
- Certification as an Ophthalmic Assistant
- Previous experience in a similar position is beneficial
