Electrical Punch-List Technician

Maynor Service Company is looking for an Electrical Punch-List Technician / Helper to join our team and help bring new construction projects across the finish line.

A building can be fully wired and powered, but still not be ready for the homeowner, customer, or final inspection. That's where you come in.

As an Electrical Punch-List Technician / Helper, you'll work during the final phase of new construction to turn a newly installed electrical system into a safe, functional, inspection-ready space.

If you have an eye for detail, take pride in your work, and enjoy seeing a project go from rough-in to finished product, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

You'll help complete the electrical finish work throughout the project, including:

• Installing switches, receptacles, dimmers, and wall plates
• Installing and assembling decorative light fixtures, ceiling fans, and customer-selected lighting
• Installing smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and related devices
• Installing GFCI and AFCI devices as required
• Assisting with panel labeling and final electrical system organization
• Installing and programming smart home devices, controls, and lighting systems as directed
• Ensuring all devices, fixtures, and equipment are level, secure, clean, and professionally installed
  
  

We're looking for someone who takes pride in doing things right.

The ideal candidate is:

• Minimum 3 years of electrical experience
• Valid state-issued Driver's License with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience
• Knowledge of residential or light commercial electrical rough-in, trim-out, and service work
• Willing to be on call once every 4 weeks
• Dependable and shows up ready to work
• Detail-oriented and takes pride in craftsmanship
• Comfortable using electrical hand tools, testing equipment, and power tools
• Able to follow directions and work safely around energized systems
• Willing to learn from experienced electricians
• Able to identify problems and communicate them to the team
• Organized and respectful of the job site
• A team player with a positive attitude
