Custodian

Job Summary: The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment across the facility. Key duties include cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, office spaces, and breakrooms, as well as performing light shoveling and sanding of walkways during inclement weather. This role supports the health and safety of staff and visitors by ensuring all areas are hygienic and accessible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize all restrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, floors, and dispensers.
• Maintain cleanliness in office spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, trash removal, and surface sanitization.
• Clean and restock breakrooms, including wiping down appliances, tables, and counters. Sweeping and mopping floors.
• Perform light shoveling and sanding of walkways during winter months or inclement weather to ensure safe access.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and restroom products.
• Wash interior windows.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
  
  

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous janitorial experience
