Since its founding on the Western Slope of the Rockies in Montrose, CO in 2012, Mayfly Outdoors has lived by one mission: Honor the Water. We bring together legacy fly-fishing brands that never stop innovating — Abel, Ross Reels, Airflo, Dyna-King and Renzetti — and build gear trusted by anglers around the world, with a lasting commitment to quality, precision and conservation.
The opportunity: Our portfolio has grown rapidly, with two acquisitions in the last three years. We're looking for a proven operations executive to unify our manufacturing under one vision, build the systems for our next stage of growth, and leave a lasting mark on an iconic American-made brand family.
Your mandate
- Own the enterprise: Full accountability for machining, anodizing, assembly, engineering and quality across five brands.
- Shape strategy: Partner with the CEO and executive team to set the operational roadmap for growth.
- Drive operational excellence: Lead Lean, Six Sigma and TPM to cut waste, lower COGS and increase throughput.
- Scale the business: Build the budgets, supply chain and KPIs that support new products and future acquisitions.
- Build the team: Develop leaders and a culture of accountability, craftsmanship and continuous improvement.
What you bring
- 10 years of senior manufacturing leadership with measurable results.
- A proven track record leading Lean Six Sigma transformations.
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Manufacturing or Business (Master's preferred).
- Infor CloudSuite Industrial or comparable ERP experience.
- Passion for fly fishing or the outdoor industry is a strong plus.
