What You’ll Do
- Set up, program, and operate Citizen Swiss-type CNC lathes
- Produce small, high-precision parts with tight tolerances
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and process docs
- Select tooling, optimize feeds/speeds, perform tool offsets
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools
- Troubleshoot and make real-time machining adjustments
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams
- Lead training and help develop SOPs for the team
- Support equipment transfer and facility startup (may include short-term travel to Florida)
What You Bring
- 5 years of Swiss CNC machining experience
- Mastery of tight tolerances (±0.0001” preferred)
- Experience with stainless, aluminum, titanium, and similar materials
- G-code programming/editing skills
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving savvy
- Attention to detail and a quality-driven mindset
Bonus Points
- PartMaker programming experience
- Familiarity with “L” series Swiss machines
- Background in outdoor, medical, or aerospace manufacturing
- Lean/continuous improvement know-how
- Passion for fly fishing or outdoor gear
