What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Operations Coordinator (Mobile role) position at Mayfair Real Estate Investments & Management?
Mayfair is growing, and we’re looking for a highly organized, proactive, and hands-on Property Operations Coordinator/Assistant Property Manager to help oversee a portfolio of apartment buildings across Broward County (Fort Lauderdale, Pompano, Miramar, Dania, etc.).
This is a field-based operations role, not a desk-only position. You’ll spend most of your time visiting properties, coordinating vendors, overseeing unit turns, conducting inspections, solving operational issues, and ensuring work is completed properly and on time.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes ownership, communicates well, and wants to grow into a long-term operations or property management career.
Experience in property management is helpful, but not required. We are open to professionals transitioning from industries such as:
- Operations
- Administration
- Healthcare
- Hospitality
- Logistics
- Customer service
We value intelligence, adaptability, accountability, and willingness to learn more than direct industry experience.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct property visits and inspections across your assigned portfolio
- Oversee unit turns from move-out to move-in readiness
- Coordinate vendors and verify quality and completion of work
- Track operational priorities, maintenance progress, and violations
- Document inspections and updates using Buildium and internal systems
- Coordinate scheduling, property access, and logistics
- Communicate proactively with tenants, vendors, and internal teams
- Escalate issues early and help solve problems efficiently
- Support day-to-day property operations across multiple buildings
Requirements:
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Resourceful and proactive
- Strong communication and follow-through
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Interested in growing into leadership or operations management roles
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
- Comfortable driving throughout Broward County daily
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning systems/software
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience in operations, coordination, customer-facing, or fast-paced environments is a plus
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
Compensation and Benefits:
- $24-$28/hour performance-based incentives
- Mileage reimbursement for eligible routes
- Up to 21 paid days off per year
- Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
