In addition to an online store, Rexel USA has a distribution network of over 460 warehouse storefront locations throughout the U.S.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Mayer team in Meridian,MS!Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the warehouse team’s efficiency and accuracy of filling customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping material in a manner that meets customer demands as well as company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity. Participates in the hiring of new employees and responsible for training and assigning daily work activities.What You'll Do:Contribute to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environmentFollow established Standard Operating Procedures, Environmental Health and Safety Rules, and immediately address safety concernsProvide leadership and direct supervision to a team of warehouse employees to achieve the highest possible levels of accuracy and productivityParticipate in all aspects of hiring new employeesResponsible for training and coordinating daily activities related to receiving, shipping, picking, and packing of inventory and non-inventory itemsEnsure the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment and maintain the security of the WarehouseEnsure inbound and/or outbound shipments and products are accurate and free of damageComplete all necessary records and report in a timely and accurate mannerUtilize Workforce Management System (WMS) metrics, reporting, and other tools to increase warehouse productivityEvaluate policies and procedures to improve efficiency and make recommendations for improvementMay fill in for other warehouse roles and makes deliveries as neededPerform other duties as assignedJob Duties Disclaimer: The information contained in this job description is intended to describe the essential job functions required of those assigned to this job.
