Plant Health Care Specialist/Technician
Mayer Tree Service is looking for an exceptional career-minded person to join us in becoming a key member of our plant health care team.
The ideal candidate will possess an active Massachusetts pesticide license, prior experience in the plant health care industry as well as a passion for tree and shrub care. The ability to identify and differentiate plant species, diagnose and treat insect and disease problems. A strong work ethic, a positive attitude, a willingness to expand your knowledge, work independently, with excellent customer service skills are also required.
The minimum requirements for consideration include:
- 3 – 5 years of experience
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- A high school diploma, or equivalent GED
- Good physical condition with the ability to work in all weather conditions.
- A conscientious and reliable nature as well as the ability to work well with others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid Massachusetts core pesticide license
