Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Running steel and plastic conduit for new or existing electrical installations
- Some welding and fabrication
- Control adjustments for Rectifiers, Air Compressors, Ovens and Chiller units
- Will be working extensively with 480/120 voltage and occasionally low voltage systems
- Strong electrical knowledge for wiring motors, pumps, transformers, thermocouples, etc.
- Assist with installing machinery, and equipment of varying power requirements
- Moderate understanding of blueprints and schematics
- Use machine controls, meters and software to diagnose and repair problems
- Understand plc and logic control to accurately change set points and diagnose potential issues
- Perform complex electrical troubleshooting and repairs
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the electrical field.
- Must be able to coordinate efforts with third-party vendors
- Provides training and guidance to Maintenance Technicians I, II and III
- Clean and maintain tools to perform routine maintenance on special equipment
- Utilize work order system for work scheduling, preventative maintenance programs and record keeping
- Minimum of 3- 5 years of related experience
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Licensed Electrician
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Must have a satisfactory driving record
- Must have an acceptable criminal history background check
- Must pass a drug test
- Full time, generally 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday thru Friday
- Some overtime may be required
