What are the responsibilities and job description for the Local CDL A Driver Part Time position at Maybury Trucking LLC?
Job Summary
We are a small family owned and operated trucking company, specializing in hauling agricultural commodities. Serving New York and Northern Pennsylvania. Drivers are home every night with minimal weekend deliveries. Hours will vary depending on the time of the year. We are looking for a Part Time CDL Class A driver with a clean driving record. At least 2 years verifiable driving experience and current medical card REQUIRED. Must have the ability to enter and exit trailers when needed, for sweeping out after previous loads. Climbing up and down ladders is also required. Experience with auger trailer, dump trailer and belt trailer a plus, but will train a willing candidate. Minor maintenance is also expected of drivers, such as changing a marker light and keeping the fifth wheel greased. Drivers will operate the same truck and trailer combination for the majority of the time but will be expected to operate the other equipment as needed. Previous experience on or around farming a plus, as most of our customer base are farmers. Pay is based on commission. We have an outstanding benefit package
