Mayacama Golf Club currently in search of a Full Time Golf Operations Manager.
The Golf Operations Manager is responsible for all daily operating procedures in his/ her area, which includes the Bag Room, Cart Barn, Practice Grounds, and First Tee. He/ she should insure the highest quality service possible to all Members and guests, including but not limited to the following duties:
Responsible for training and scheduling all employees in this area to ensure the highest level of service to our Members on a daily basis.
Ordering and inventory of all operating supplies for the Outside Services Operations, including towels, scorecards, repair tools, ball markers, pencils, tees, sand bottles, and any other related materials required.
Supervise the Practice Grounds Operation, including the maintenance of all equipment, range ball inventory, the daily set-up of the range to insure the best possible use of the turf grass.
Processing Introductory and Annual Reviews for all Outside Services Personnel.
Responsible for recruiting and interviewing new candidates for employment.
Review Tournament To-Do Lists with the Professional Staff.
Advance planning and set-up for all clinics, camps, or other special requests.
Responsible for marking the golf course in preparation for Tournaments
Responsible for the Club Repair operation, including all ordering and inventory of club repair supplies, billing for all club repair work, and allocating the service fees to the appropriate staff.
Supervision and maintenance of the club's golf car fleet, including maintenance records for each golf car.
Ensuring that all players playing 18 holes make the turn in an orderly manner and without delay. Advise those stopping at the turn exactly what they can expect relative to beginning their back nine holes.
Responsible for advising all first-time visitors about golf course related information, including tee recommendations, yardage markers, and other course markings.
Responsible for keeping up to the minute, accurate play records, and communicate to the Golf Shop for billing.
Monitor the pace of play using Whoosh to identify groups that are out of position.
Ensuring that all Club Customs are adhered to by Members and guests. Rules and Regulations updates will be provided accordingly.
Responsible for keeping current on the Golf Membership Roster.
