What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Landscape Project Manager position at May's Lawn Care?
Typical weekly duties include (but are not limited to):• Maintain stock material inventory • Inventory orders, tag for jobs, organize remainder • Source plant material, place orders, and schedule pickup/delivery • Communicate with customers for upcoming jobs • Communicate change orders with customers and the Accounts Manager to ensure billing is correct • Manage utility locates for current and upcoming jobs • Learn irrigation and landscape lighting repairs • Run equipment and pull trailer, may be required to work in the field with a crew • Pick up material, rental equipment, Lowe’s supplies, and run other errands • Assist Project Manager with other duties as required For this position, we are looking for the following abilities/characteristics: • Ability to proficiently use a computer and its programs. • Strive for accuracy/correctness in every task. • Strong time management skills. • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong attention to detail. • Efficient (once the position is learned). • Effective written and verbal communication skills. • Team player, willingness to engage in a variety of activities. • Comfortable pulling a loaded trailer. • Comfortable running equipment (Skid Steer/Excavator) in a safe manner. • Familiarity with the landscape industry About May's Lawn Care:Our customers range from large commercial facilities to small residential lawns.
