Responsibilities
- Be able to preform various construction tasks, including framing, drywall installation, and finishing, foundation work, roofing, siding and finish work.
- Prepare job sites by cleaning and organizing materials and tools.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring they are stored safely and securely.
- Operate hand tools and power tools.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
- Perform labor duties such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
Qualifications
- Five years previous experience in construction fields is required.
- Ability to read construction plans.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work on roofs and heights above 10 feet comfortably.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is a must.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced tradespeople.
- A valid driver's license and dependable vehicle is required for transportation to job sites.
