What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist position at Maxzz Diesel USA?
We're looking for a detail-oriented AP/AR Specialist to join our team full-time in Coconut Creek, FL (hybrid flexibility available).
In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our financial operations running smoothly — managing accounts payable and receivable transactions, processing expense reports, posting journal entries, and reconciling accounts to ensure the accuracy of our financial records. You'll also support financial reporting and help identify and resolve discrepancies as they arise.
What We're Looking For:
- Solid foundation in accounting principles and financial practices
- Experience processing expense reports and preparing detailed financial documentation
- Strong analytical skills with a sharp eye for discrepancies
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (candidates with a strong accounting background but limited QuickBooks experience are encouraged to apply — we're happy to train the right person)
- Competency in preparing and posting journal entries
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
