Customer Service & Sales Support Specialist
We are seeking an outgoing, organized, and customer-focused professional to join our team in a part-time Customer Service & Sales Support Specialist role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, communicating with customers, supporting sales efforts, and working in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and phone skills, a positive attitude, excellent organizational abilities, and a willingness to learn. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers, dealers, distributors, field sales personnel, and internal teams while helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations and exceptional customer support.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide professional and responsive support to customers, dealers, distributors, field sales personnel, and internal staff via phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Build and maintain positive relationships by delivering excellent customer service and timely follow-up.
• Proactively follow up with existing customers who have not purchased recently to help maintain relationships, identify opportunities, and support ongoing sales efforts.
• Assist in customer outreach initiatives to re-engage inactive accounts and support business growth.
• Support the sales team with customer communication, order processing, inquiries, and administrative coordination.
• Process return authorizations, credits/debits, and maintain accurate customer and order records.
• Process EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize Syspro software to enter orders, track inventory, and assist with shipment processing.
• Assist with general office and operational support as needed.
• Prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all customer interactions and data entry activities.
Qualifications

• Comfortable communicating professionally over the phone and through email.
• Confidence in making outbound customer follow-up calls and maintaining customer relationships.
• Organized, dependable, adaptable, and able to multitask effectively.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Experience with EDI systems and/or Syspro software is preferred but not required.
