Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience
• Operate the cash register and POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for retail sales transactions
• Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision and professionalism
• Assist customers with product demos and answer questions about merchandise to encourage upselling
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the sales floor remains clean, attractive, and well-merchandised
• Maintain accurate cash drawer handling and perform daily cash register operations with integrity
• Support inventory management by participating in stocking activities and assisting with product replenishment
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing assistance remotely
• Engage customers in retail math calculations for purchases, discounts, or promotions to facilitate smooth transactions
• Promote store promotions and upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities

Skills

• Proven experience operating POS systems and managing retail sales transactions efficiently
• Supervising experience is a plus; capable of guiding team members during busy periods
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person and over the phone
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Knowledge of retail store product lines, merchandising techniques, and inventory stocking procedures
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, giving correct change, and processing discounts or promotions
• Excellent phone etiquette to handle inquiries professionally and courteously
• Experience conducting product demos to educate customers about features and benefits
• Familiarity with retail sales strategies such as upselling to increase transaction value
