Our Opportunity

Immediate opening for a Construction Estimator. The Construction Estimator will assist in the preparation of budgets for multifamily, commercial and residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimation/take off of square footage for multi family developments for a specialty concrete subcontractor (Gyp-Crete and exterior pump mix)
• Download digital plans and perform take off of square footage of items within our scope. Enter into estimating software and provide bid proposal.
• Communicate via email and phone with contractors, PM, estimators and architects as needed in order to acquire correct information in order to provide a accurate take off and bid proposal.
• Ability to multitask and work with critical time restraints to provide bids before deadline.
• Work with sales staff on bid process
• Coordinate Material and Labor takeoffs in Estimating database
  
  

Ideal candidate should have:

• 1 - 3 years experience
• College Degree a plus
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Computer Aided Design, Blueprint reading
• Working knowledge of Planswift a plus
• Enjoy working independently and multitasking in a deadline-oriented department
• Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills necessary.
