Solution Architect

Maxxis International, the U.S. division of a global tire manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our Supply Chain team. In this key role, you’ll translate business needs into innovative technical solutions, guide implementation teams, and ensure our technology vision aligns with organizational objectives. We are currently working a hybrid schedule (working 3 days in office and 2 days at home). Therefore, applicants must be able to commute to and work in our Suwanee, GA office.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Design and document solution architectures, including application, data, and infrastructure components
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and platforms to meet business needs
• Provide technical guidance to development teams during implementation
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for proposed solutions
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to make informed architecture decisions
  
  

Key Competencies

• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid environments
• Proficiency in designing APIs, microservices, and integration patterns
• Advanced skills in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with best security practices and compliance standards
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical staff
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT architecture, systems design, or directly related roles required
• Experience with cloud architecture and enterprise-level solutions required

Salary: $150,000 - $175,000
