Maxxima, a leader in LED lighting and electrical products for HD trucks and consumer markets, is hiring a Forklift Operator for our Hauppauge, NY distribution warehouse.
Pay & Schedule:
- $20-$23/hour (based on experience), weekly pay
- Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (occasional overtime as needed)
What You'll Do:
- Operate a stand-on forklift to receive, load, and unload shipments
- Perform inventory control, cycle counts, and bin/shelf management
- Prioritize purchase orders for productivity
- Cross-train in picking, packing, and shipping
- Support other warehouse projects as needed
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years operating a forklift in a warehouse/distribution setting (stand-on forklift experience preferred)
- Current, unexpired forklift certification
- Valid driver's license
- WMS (warehouse management system) experience
- Working knowledge of forklift mechanics/maintenance
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for a full shift
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently or on a team
