Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Regional Manager to lead our Idaho operations. This role oversees a growing portfolio of 700 units, supporting Senior Managers, Property Managers, Associate Managers, and support staff across multiple communities.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and confident in leading teams, building structure, and ensuring consistent operations. While day-to-day leadership and execution are essential, we are also looking for someone who brings thoughtful ideas to help enhance processes and support future growth.

This role plays an important part in supporting team culture, overseeing daily operations, and strengthening property performance across the Idaho market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all property operations across the Idaho portfolio (700 units and expanding)
  • Lead, support, and develop Senior Managers, Property Managers, and support staff
  • Build and maintain a culture of accountability and strong team support
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training for Idaho team members
  • Monitor performance metrics including occupancy, delinquency, renewals, and online reputation
  • Implement operational improvements and support scalable growth
  • Maintain strong owner and investor relationships; prepare and share monthly updates and reports
  • Attend HOA board meetings and represent MAXX professionally
  • Manage escalations from residents, vendors, and owners
  • Oversee budgets, pricing recommendations, and operational strategies
  • Work with legal partners on evictions and compliance matters
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships; source new vendors as needed
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies

Qualifications

  • 5 years of property management experience
  • 3 years in a leadership or regional-level role
  • Experience overseeing multi-site operations (500 units minimum)
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Proven success building operational consistency and improving performance
  • Experience with AppFolio (preferred), Z-Inspector, and Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams, Outlook)
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service ability
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
