Groundskeeper

Maxx Properties is hiring hiring a Groundskeeper to join our team at The Upton Apartment Homes for a full-time and immediate opportunity. This positions offers the opportunity to work closely with maintenance and leasing operations with all the perks, benefits and growth opportunities!

Job Summary:

The Groundskeeper is responsible for ensuring the community’s exterior areas, common spaces, and amenities are consistently clean, attractive, safe, and well-maintained. This position performs daily inspections and routine upkeep of the property, including landscaping, walkways, recreational areas, pools, model apartments, vacant homes, and other shared spaces. Responsibilities include general grounds maintenance, seasonal services such as snow removal when applicable, exterior cleaning, and preparing vacant apartments for occupancy or market presentation.

The Groundskeeper also supports the maintenance team with property improvement projects, installation and removal of signage, organization of tools and supplies, inventory control, and other operational needs. The position is expected to identify and promptly communicate landscaping, maintenance, safety, or appearance concerns to the appropriate team members and assist in resolving issues when appropriate. Through attention to detail, reliable follow-through, and a strong service-oriented approach, the Groundskeeper helps maintain company standards and contributes to a clean, welcoming, and positive environment for residents, prospective residents, employees, and visitors.

Requirements: 1-2 years of groundskeeping experience is required
