School Bus DriverJob Summary
We are seeking a responsible, dependable, and safety-focused School Bus Driver to safely transport students to and from school, field trips, and other school-related activities. The School Bus Driver is responsible for maintaining a safe and orderly environment while providing courteous and professional service to students, parents, and school staff
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely operate a school bus according to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Pick up and drop off students at designated stops and scheduled times.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and orderly environment on the bus.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules accurately.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus and report any mechanical or safety issues.
- Monitor student behavior and follow school district policies and procedures.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and accidents.
- Communicate effectively with school personnel, parents, and transportation supervisors.
- Keep the bus clean and in good condition.
- Transport students for field trips, athletic events, and other school activities as assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student information.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate school bus and passenger endorsements, as required by state law.
- Meet all state and local requirements for school bus drivers.
- Ability to pass required background checks, drug/alcohol testing, and physical examinations.
- Clean or acceptable driving record.
- Reliable attendance
- Ability to work effectively with children and adolescents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a school bus.
- Ability to assist students when needed.
- Ability to enter and exit the bus repeatedly and perform safety inspections.
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
Work Schedule
This position involves split shifts, typically during morning and afternoon student transportation times. Additional hours may be available for field trips, athletic events, and other school activities.

$1,000 Bonus for School Bus Drivers* (Already Lisenced)
$1500 Bonus for start to finish completions of Class B CDL
